Points to ponder

I am living on a staple diet of TV, sleep and more TV. I watch the some serials twice during the day. When there is nothing I like on TV, I just keep searching till I get something to watch. 

My maid tried to help by applying for fifteen days sick leave. But my inner voice asked - are you willing to change your lifestyle for a maid, or some silly chores? Obviously my answer was NO.

With this as background, my brain, is not in its best shape. So instead of writing a post about one topic - I can only write some points - unrelated points  blog worthy.

• I like the way this is going. If swamiJI A exposes swamiJI B, exposes swamiJI C, exposes ...... , we can all hope that at some point in the near future, all the swamiJIs will be exposed. And we can all heave a sigh of relief. Because then people will understand that these Godmen are more men than God, and not even good men. And people will understand that the term Godman itself is an oxymoron. Instead people have to do with God. How much ever elusive he is. Because you see, he will not lie. Because he does not talk. He will not harm us in any way, as he will not get up from the corner where we have placed him. And he does not ask our money. I think, our money has little value in his place. And best of all, he believes in freedom of expression - you praise him, you scold him, you caricature him. He just smiles like a loving, understanding parent at the child's pranks. 

• Some how, are the politicians  turning more corrupt or is media  becoming better in catching them, we see the episodes of corruption flows like a continuous stream. But it takes two for corruption. If we are all saints, never thinking of bribing any one, for getting favors, how will the politicians become corrupt? The fault is some where in us as well?

• The more people insult them, scold them and hate them, the more politicians are showing foot in the mouth syndrome. Of course anyone would stumble, again and again, if they know that their each step is being watched. So shouldn't we sympathize the politicians?

• The way these people are talking about rape victims - do they have a mother, a daughter or a sister? If they have, why can't they understand the pain of these victims?
