Bengaluru Sept 15: There are news from various parts of south India that the epidemic of "Thinking" is increasing, not only in cities, but also in towns and villages. The recent punishments given out by concerned citizens to the so called thinkers has failed to act as deterrent to these people.
For the first time in the history of the country, there was a peaceful protest in the city of Bangalore against Thinkers. People were seen holding placards saying "Thinkers go back to Pakistan", "Godless people", "Down with thinkers" etc.
Politicians and bureaucrats alike are worried about this new plague inflicting the country. They are of the opinion that thinkers are worse than terrorists. Or they are "thought" terrorists. They cause serious damage to the national integrity and harmony among people.
Through their thinking and writing they are inciting other people to think too. And once every one starts to think, they will not believe what ever we leaders tell them. They start asking for irrelevant and unfeasible concepts like equality, justice and rights.
When asked about the ways of overcoming this new threat to our democracy a leader of opposition party said that once this government resigns and we come to power, we will ensure that there will be not be single thinker left in the entire country. But the ruling party spokesperson had another opinion. He said they need more time to tackle the issue. If the people are kind enough to bring them back to power for one more term, they will fix all the problems, including that of thinkers.
But another journalist had a better suggestion. He said " we need to ban all universities. In spite of our efforts to keep the student engaged with booze and drugs, some of them start experimenting with thinking and get hooked to it. While at it, we should also ban libraries and printed books. Any ways most common people get their information from social media. So it is not going to harm ordinary innocent citizens".
There is a section of the society who also feel that as Indians are becoming financially more stable, they all the more time to these idiotic pass times. And hence a reduction of salaries across all the companies private, government, MNC should be able to fix the problem to some extent.
