- The flower in this tree looks like it was imported from a shorter plant
- It is not common - at least not in parks of Bangalore - most of the trees here have small yellow flower
- It has subtle fragrance
OK, now I even tried searching in nurserylive. Unsuccessfully.
This park is better the one closer to our home. There are actual trees and plants inside the park. Not just weed. There are many trees along the periphery. And some flowering plants in the central vertical path. The only ones I know name of are "nandibattala" (crape-jasmine) which is a no-fuss happy plant which flowers easily. There used to be smaller hibiscus plants earlier. Now they are not to be seen.
You also find some plants which are called in English "fox tail".
So may be this place has so many beauties and feeds for my blogs.
P.S. The earlier title was cat's tail et al as it was slightly rhyming and was sounding better. But now a little research told me that et al is used for persons and et al is a special case of etc. You and me may think of flora and fauna as persons. But not all. Hence I changed to the grammatically correct etc :(
