Legal terms

My English vocabulary is limited. And my knowledge of legal terms is even worse. So whenever I heard the term sedition I was completely baffled. What is this sedition?

So I did what every other netizen would do. I looked up the term in wikipedia. I read half the article. But still the meaning was not clear. Still I am unable to understand the term. Please help me here.

If you try to incite the people against people of another community in a secular democracy, is it not sedition? Obviously not. Because I have not heard that word used in that context. If you try to divide the people based on their state of origin, is it not sedition. That is also not sedition. Even if it can create long term problems and  more hatred and violence. If you print text books where the national flag is printed with wrong order of kesari bili hasiru, that is not sedition.

But if you draw cartoons, criticizing those in power, that is sedition. Well poor Aseem, he has forgotten his mother's advice - dushtarinda duraviru . and Darwin's theory of survival of fittest.

This must really go to facebook page. But since I am currently not in facebook, I am putting it here. Bharatha - 2. UrdhvaRoma

I wanted to write about Karna as my part 2 of Bharatha because he is the real tragic hero of MahaBharatha. But net is filled with writings about him. So let me write about little known son of Arjuna called Urdhvaroma. And I don't want to write as twisted tale but as I have heard it from my Yankatte (atte - aunt). Yankatte was my mother's aunt and she was widowed in childhood. She would spend some time in my granny's house and some time in her husband's house. She would tell us all beautiful stories.
