How are they going to serve the country if they are inside the house. How will they attend different rallies? How will giveelection speeches? How will they inaugurate a hospital belonging to them. ? How will they attend legislative assemblies or councils once in a blue moon.
Here is where technology comes into picture. Our leaders have shown their eagerness to use new technology by asking new ipads etc. They can use the same technology for their benefit. A leader who is supposed to be addressing the rally can give a live telecast of his speech, sitting in the comfort of his air conditioned home. He can even read the prepared election speech and it can be shown on big screen. He does not have to prepare it for different constituencies. His tech support can edit the content, depending on whether it is Bidar or Belgaum.
And if he wants to go to Vidhana soudha, he can send a stooge, who cansleep sit through the session, and record the proceedings and show it to the leader. If in a rare case of leader having a question to ask, again a teleconferecing method can be used.
