Brain in sick body

The current perplexity - when you are not well say a simple cold - do your nerves become number or brain becomes dumber?

So by now you have guessed I am not well - and yes I have cold and using that as excuse to not do daily chores. Cold could be a reaction to very very cloudy sky in Bangalore, which is due to heavy rains in Chennai which is due to depression in Bay of Bengal 

So today I was roasting semolia - rava/suji in microwave oven. And let me tell you, it is fast and efficient. But you need to remove the glass container out of oven and mix the contents once every minute. I as, any middle class Indian, do not use gloves for removing hot glass bowl from oven, because I don't buy one. I use kitchen towels instead.

But today I was able to remove this hot glass bowl with bare hands. And it is not the effect of any medicine because I hadn't taken any. So may be my brain is not processing the pain signals correctly because it has become hazed?

But if my brain is not processing signals rightly, how am I able to write syntactically correct sentences in a foreign language now?

Or my brain, like me, works only when it wants to?

Enough of me-stories.

 I wanted to add something about positive psychology because of late I have become so upset that I even decided I will visit a temple. ( And the next day, cold attacked. May be our God is a vengeful god instead of  "Karunalu" god and keeps scores).

Reading and listening to audios about positive psychology for few minutes, I decided I am not qualified enough to write about it - or even blog about it.

But as usual, I am providing you a link - which if you are like me will read few lines here and there and be relieved of your stress.

 By the any doctor - whether doctor of body or of mind, wants to diagnose what is wrong with you and then find a cure for that. Positive psychology finds out what is right with you and use this for improving your health.

Bharatha - 2. UrdhvaRoma

I wanted to write about Karna as my part 2 of Bharatha because he is the real tragic hero of MahaBharatha. But net is filled with writings about him. So let me write about little known son of Arjuna called Urdhvaroma. And I don't want to write as twisted tale but as I have heard it from my Yankatte (atte - aunt).
