Kagga on book knowledge

We try to get our knowledge from books and now from net. But how much does this knowledge really help us? I remember hearing a story about some lady cooking by reading recipe from the book. She did everything according to the instructions but still the rice or whatever she was cooking was a disaster. It turned out that the book mentioned keeping the vessel on the stove but did not mention that she said switch on the flame of stove. And she placed the vessel on cold stove for cooking.
Jokes apart, one needs the knowledge which comes from inside. ( How exactly does it come from inside? Does inside mean inside of the brain or of the mind or of the body ? I do not have answers to any of the questions)
Again there is a vachana from Someshwara says
PÉ®ªÀA §®èªÀjAzÀ PÀAqÀÄ PÉ®ªÀA ±Á¸ÀÛçAUÀ¼À£ÉÆßÃzÀÄvÀA
PÉ®ªÀA ªÀiÁ¼ÀàªÀjAzÀ PÀAqÀÄ PÉ®ªÀA ¸ÀÄeÁߣÀ¢A £ÉÆÃqÀÄvÀA
PÉ®ªÀA ¸ÀdÓ£À ¸ÀAUÀ¢AzÀ®jAiÀÄ¯ï ¸ÀªÀðdߣÀ¥ÀàA £ÀgÀA
¥À®ªÀA ¥À¼Àî ¸ÀªÀÄÄzÀæªÉÊ ºÀgÀºÀgÁ ²æ ZÉ£Àß ¸ÉÆêÉÄñÀégÁ
So we have to read and get the knowledge but just bookish knowledge is as good as learning swimming from an online course.

Bharatha - 2. UrdhvaRoma

I wanted to write about Karna as my part 2 of Bharatha because he is the real tragic hero of MahaBharatha. But net is filled with writings about him. So let me write about little known son of Arjuna called Urdhvaroma. And I don't want to write as twisted tale but as I have heard it from my Yankatte (atte - aunt). Yankatte was my mother's aunt and she was widowed in childhood. She would spend some time in my granny's house and some time in her husband's house. She would tell us all beautiful stories. UrdhvaRoma was a son of Arjuna (I think. Or may be Bhima's son. I don't remember clearly. ) He was living in the forest. One day when he was practicing archery, Arjuna and Krishna were passing by. Krishna indicated Arjuna to hide and watch. This boy shot an arrow to a large tree. And all the leaves of the tree fell down except for 5 and a half leaves. Krishna and Arjuna came forward and asked him what was all this about. The boy told " After few years there wi
