Middle class mentality

Since last few days TV channels are saying Anna movement is just a middle class movement. What is wrong with being middle class person? Middle class people do not get any freebies from the government and they can not be bought. But they will pay large percent of taxes. The vote bank people do not have enough to pay taxes. And rich people will always evade taxes. So a middle class person pays his hard earned money to the state, is always ignored by the government and is scorned at, as being done now.
One of the audience, a youth , went to the extent of saying "middle class go to private schools, private colleges, work in private companies and their only encounter with government is when paying bribes. Why am I sending my kid to private school and college? Because I want some good education for him. As I have written earlier,  even my maid does not send her daughter to government school. She sends her to private school only.  If we send our children to private schools and colleges, then it means that government educational institutes are substandard. And we work in private organizations, because we want to work, not just goof around buttering our bosses. Anyway we will not get government jobs without sifarish, no matter how good our marks sheets are.
And correct me if I am wrong. The contribution of middle class is really large in improving our country since globalization. Since globalization because we can get private good jobs, and with that pay we can send our children to good private schools and colleges. ( And we are not sending them to Doon school or the Oxford.)
And we work hard and spend. Since our money is hard earned, we get enraged when we have to pay a bribe starting from chaparasi to minister to get any work done.
