Really why am I here? I am supposed to read the book by some Nobel winning author. Oh, now I read books only by Nobel laurates. Does not matter if I return it after reading only 50 pages and keep it for around 2 months and then give up. I am supposed to give a better look and feel to my key board app. I am not supposed to work on my newspaper app. And I am supposed to select one of my incomplete apps and bring them to at least beta stage. (And I am supposed to go and bring my charger before my laptop goes to hibernate).
Now I remember. I wanted to write about how to stay awake - both physically and intellectually after a day of work and pursue our passion. I have been planning all these days to work on the above things, but each day, I come home tired (and if I do not go to office , I stay home tired) and gobble and gobble more and watch stupid tv shows for 100th time and then eat supper and go to sleep. Mine might be extreme case. But many of you might face similar problems.

Hey, I can't leave it like this without adding my jnan to it. I will tell you one of the points I read almost . That is start work as soon as you reach home. See today, I came home, had my food with TV. But after that I opened my computer. I told myself, Sheldon, Penny or Leonard will not cry if I do not see that particular episode the 48th time. But I will have to cry if I do. So early start.
Next interesting points is devoting a small amount of time everyday for your work. Like say 10 minutes. Everyday you have to spend 10 minutes on your work. Never less. Most of the times you will get hooked to the work and 10 minutes will stretch many fold. Even if it does not, you can get something accomplished in those 10 minutes.
Something which applies to myself here. Set small goals which you can accomplish in a week or lesser so that you will not get disillusioned with the vastness of the project. Let us say you can tell yourself that in next3 days I will complete the opening screen UI and just run it on emulator. This is achievable and it gives satisfaction and boosts your ego so that you are ready for next task.
Happy working..... After a day of office work.
