Day before was like Alice's quote in Alice in the wonderland
You need to keep running in order to stay in the same place.
And yesterday was entire day is fruitless or is it futile?
And today morning I got something done. Am not sure whether I am going in right direction though.
So day before my ubuntu system started lagging a lot. Like I should go, make a cup of tea and come back to just get the terminal started. Or system monitor, or firefox. Or any other command.
What the hell is happening? Why is it acting up? I tried various fixes - what ever I could fathom. Which is not much. I type so many sudo commands - do I really know what are they?
So half a day was spent on that. And again the monitor got dim. Finally it turned out that problem was with accessibility bus setting. I am not even using any one of the accessibility features. I had simply deleted some lines in the setting file. After adding them again, system became normal.
Thank God, I did not have to re install OS.
And yesterday, instead of doing anything, I kept on thinking about how I am not doing anything.
Now let me get to blame mode. You with your fancy AC offices, coffee breaks and very very important - system admins at your beck and call, can not understand my difficulties.
Today I finally added some preset equalizers to the music players. Not much difference - only metallic is making the sound louder. So it must be working.
See the problem is, I feel my apps can not compete with existing ones. See this music player - how is it different from any of thousands in the market? Is there any new feature? None. That thought causes fruitless or futile days. Along with so many non-technical reasons.
