ಬ್ರಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ?

ಪ್ರಜಾ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವೆಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸರಕಾರ ಎಂದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಈಗ ಅದೆಲ್ಲ old school. ಪ್ರಜಾ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಹೊಸ ಪರಿಭಾಷೆಯೆಂದರೆ

ಬ್ರಷ್ಟರಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಷ್ಟರಿಗಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸರಕಾರವೇ ಪ್ರಜಾ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಅಥವಾ ಬ್ರಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ 

Cliches aside, I saw in today's newspaper that chief election officer has stated that taking money for vote is an offense. But what about buying vote? Is it not an offense?

  We citizens will supply them with names of candidates who are giving money. Will the honorable government  punish the politicians who are giving money for their votes? Or will the election commission cancel their candidature for this election?

This must really go to facebook page. But since I am currently not in facebook, I am putting it here.
