Some other minister I think from UP, told girls and women have no need of mobiles, and in his family his wife and children do not use mobile.
I was trying to refresh my memory of all such quotable quotes reflecting the attitude of our leaders towards women. When googling I came across a blog from Pakistan women whom men should not marry. According to that post, a woman who twitters, who uses facebook, who works in office, who talks to men in a natural way, who does not wear hijab etc. are the one men should avoid when selecting a bride. Thank God. Our leaders and men are chauvinistic, but they are not in stone age.
OK, again I was dragged off the topic by google. So you look at the way our leaders talk and then create a controversy. Gadkari compared Swami Vivekananda with Mafia leader Dawood Ibrahim. Then there were so many such non dignified, non subtle comments by members of IAC and similar comments by Congress leaders on IAC members.
If I look at them I wonder. I thought I was very bad at PR. These people are worse, after being in a profession and position where your talk is the key to success. So I decide, our Maun Mohan Singji is much better than all these leaders. A proverb in Kannada says "maatu belli, mauna bangara". If speech is silver, silence is gold.
